Karolina Zbytniewska is an analyst and commentator on EU politics and the media situation in Europe and Poland. She is an experienced journalist and editor, which is also reflected in her long career. She has been the CEO and Chief Editor of EURACTIV Poland for more than 10 years and is also a board member of Europe’s MediaLab. She previously held positions at the European Parliament, the OSCE, Media Freedom Monitoring Center, and the Ministry of the Environment. Karolina Zbytniewska is currently a PhD student in political science at the University of Warsaw and alumna of the European Marie Curie Fellowship.
