Olga Afansyeva was appointed as the Executive Director of Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) in March 2016. Olga has got PhD degree on Finance at the Ukrainian banking academy of the National Bank of Ukraine, had been studying at University of Applied Sciences of the Deutsche Bundesbank, Academy of Capital Market Leaders at Lesław A. Paga Foundation (Poland). Olga has 8 years’ experience in lecturing at Ukrainian banking academy of the National Bank of Ukraine, University of Greenwich (London, UK), as well as at the Jean Monnet Program of Erasmus +. Has got an experience in corporate governance and international cooperation. In 2015 has been working at the Warsaw Stcok Exchange.
Olga is the member of EU Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum Working Group “Economic Integration & Convergence with EU Policies“, author of more then 50 scientific papers, researches, and 3 books in finance, investments and Banking.
