Aileen is a freelance English tutor, editor, researcher and adventurer based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her academic work largely focuses on masculinities and advertising (both together and separately), but she also has a keen interest in the workings of N/nationalisms – particularly via mainstream media. In terms of her own work, Aileen welcomes opportunities for inter-disciplinary and cross-border collaborations. She is a passionate advocate for an independent, European, feminist, sustainable Scotland.
