Alexis Dutertre is an Ambassador of France to Czech Republic. Previously, he served as an Inspector in the Office of the General Inspector at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs from 2018 to 2022. From 2010 – 2012 and in 2017 as well, he worked as an Advisor for EU Affairs in the Private Office of the Prime Minister. He also held the position of the Deputy Head of Department for EU internal policies and institutional matters at the Ministry of Europe and Forreign Affairs. His diplomatic career includes the role of Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of France in Tel Aviv, Israel and at the Permanent Representation of France to the EU in Brussels (COREPER I Coordination (Mertens), internal market, common fisheries policy).
