Andrea Ferjenčíková

EIB Group Representative in the Czech Republic

Andrea has been assigned to the EIB Prague office since December 2019, covering mainly the institutional relations and policy files for the EIB Member States’ representations, and as of spring 2022, she takes over the EIB Group Prague office.

 

Andrea joined the EIB HQ in 2016 and served as an Advisor to Vice-Presidents Vazil HUDAK and Lilyana PAVLOVA. Prior to this, she worked at the Ministry of Finance during the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union and beforehand occupied the position of Head of the Cabinet of Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic. Prior to her career in public sector, Andrea led the Slovak NGO dedicated to the EU economic affairs and EU policies – the Centre for European Affairs in Bratislava (today’s integrated part of the GLOBSEC), co-founded the Tatra Summit conference and designed various national and EU wide public policy projects. At the beginning of her career, she occupied several managerial, consultant roles as a project development consultant, as well at the junior positions at the European Parliament, EU Representation to Brussels, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

Andrea studied at the London School of Economics, Warsaw University, Comenius and Matej Bel University in Slovakia, and held degrees and certificates in law, international relations, diplomacy and finance.
