Rt Hon Chris Skidmore OBE MP was the UK’s Universities and Science Minister between 2018-2020. During this time he published the UK’s International Education Strategy. He is currently co-chair of the All Party Group on Universities and established the International Higher Education Commission with Oxford International in 2022. Chris was also a Senior Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School (2021-23) and was recently appointed a Professor at Bath University. He was also appointed as Officer of the British Empire (OBE) in the Platinum Jubilee Honours of Queen Elizabeth II. In 2023 he also published the 340-page Mission Zero report for the U.K. government having been asked to independently review the UK’s net zero strategy, a pledge he signed into law as also Energy Minister.
