Daniela Morari is a career diplomat within the Moldovan Foreign Service and since November 2017 serves as State Secretary for European Integration. From March 2016 to November 2017 she was appointed as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration in charge of European Integration and Treaties/International Law. In 2015 – 2016 she worked as Director General for European Integration, in 2013 – 2015 as Deputy Director General of the General Directorate for European Integration, 2010 – 2013 as Head of Unit for Political Cooperation with EU within the same General Directorate. In 2007 – 2010, she was counselor within the Moldovan Mission to the EU. In 2004 – 2007, she served in the Department for European Integration in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova.

Daniela Morari was part of the negotiating team and subsequently responsible for the overall coordination and monitoring of the implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement.

She was the national coordinator of the Visa Liberalisation Process and Mobility Partnership with EU.
