He studied International Area Studies (BA, FSV UK) and holds a Master’s degree in International Politics (CERIS – Centre Européen de Recherches Internationales & Stratégiques, Brussels) and European Studies (FSV UK). In 2003, he started working in the press department of the European People’s Party (European Democrats) group in the European Parliament. In 2011, he became an assistant to MEPs Roithová and Šojdrová. Since 2014, he had been a member of the cabinet of Commissioner and Vice-President of the European Commission Věra Jourová. Since July 2023, he has been Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
