Elena Korosteleva

Professor, Jean Monnet Chair of European Politics, University of Kent

Elena Korosteleva is Professor of International Politics, Jean Monnet Chair of European Politics, and Director of the Global Europe Centre at the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Kent. Elena is an LSE IDEAS Visiting Professor and Executive Board Member for the GLOBSEC. She has recently been awarded a large GCRF RCUK grant (2017-21) to study good governance and resilience in the eastern region and Central Asia. Her research interests include the concepts of governance/governmentality; resilience and sustainability; democracy promotion and capacity-building. Elena’s most recent monographs include ‚Resilience as a new turn in EU governance‘, Journal of IR and Development; The Politics and The Political of the Eastern Partnership Initiative: re-shaping the agenda and ‚Putting the EU Global Security Strategy to test: ‚Cooperative orders‘ and othering in EU-Russia relations‘, International Politics.
