Elvire Fabry
Dr Elvire Fabry is Senior Research Fellow at the Jacques Delors Institute in Paris since 2009, where she is dealing with EU external action. She is currently focusing on EU’s trade strategy, along with the president Emeritus of the JDI, Pascal Lamy, former DG of the WTO.
She is editorial Board Member, ‚Futuribles‘ journal; Policy Advisory Committee Member, European Movement – France; Co-Founder and Advising Committee Member, Proeuropa.
Formerly: Director, European programme, Fondation pour l’Innovation Politique (2005-09); Research Fellow, Fondation Robert Schuman (2003-04); Prospective Studies and Foresight Centre, Futuribles International; Forward Studies Unit, European Commission (1995).
She holds a PhD in political science from Sciences-Po-Paris, and Master degrees in philosophy and international relations from the Panthéon Sorbonne – Paris I University. She has been an auditor („Defense policy“ 64th session) at the Institute of Higher National Defence Studies (IHEDN) in 2011/2012. She is Colonel of the Reserve Citizen, French Air Force.
