Ivo Šlosarčík is professor of European Integration Studies and Jean Monnet Chair inEU Law at Charles University in Prague. Having graduated in law and Europeanintegration studies, he obtained LL.M. in comparative constitutional law (CentralEuropean University in Budapest) and Ph.D. in international law (Charles Universityin Prague). Ivo Šlosarčík also acted as director for research at Europeum Institute forEuropean Policy and as member of governmental advisory bodies on the EuropeanConstitutional Treaty and the EU Council Presidency. Ivo Šlosarčík’s area of researchcovers norm enforcement in the European Union, the EU’s cooperation in the AFSJand Europenization of national political, administrative and judicial structures to theEuropean integration. At present, Ivo Šlosarčík works on a monograph onEuropeanization of Czech civil service in years 2004-2014.
