Karolína Kottová
Karolina Kottova has been working for the European Commission since 2005. She advised EC Vice President Franco Frattini as a member of his cabinet from 2005 to 2008, as well as Commissioner Cecilia Malmström in 2010 and 2011 in the field of migration management and border protection. Then she worked as a coordinating spokesperson of the European Commission in Brussels and from 2014 as a spokeswoman of the Commission in the Czech Republic. Currently she head political section at the European Commission Representation in the Czech Republic. Mrs Kottova graduated in International Relations from the University of Trieste and specialised in EU Affairs at the College of Europe. She also worked for the United Nations in Kosovo from 2001 to 2003 and for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic form 2003 to 2005 as a part of the EU accession team.
