Martina Lyons is an Associate Programme Officer in the Innovation and End-use Secorts team at the IRENA’s Innovation and Technology Centre. There she focuses on pathways to decabonise hard-to-abate industry sectors and the role of critical materials in the energy transition. In her previous IRENA role, Martina worked on developing the methodology to track the progress of technology innovation. Prior to joining IRENA, Martina worked in consultancies in Prague and Brussels and at the European Commission on international energy RD&D strategies. Martina holds MSc in Corporate Finance and Corporate Law and MSc in Environmental Management from Prague and London.
