Stuart Summers is a Senior Adviser at the European External Action Service, working on the EU Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy as well as on developing the EU relationship with Iran, in particular its strategic regional aspects. He is a seconded diplomat from the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and previous postings include Cyprus, Czech Republic, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
