Alena Mastantuono
Alena Mastantuono is Employers‘ Group Member and Vice-President of the TEN (Transport, Energy, Infrastructure and the Information Society) Section of the European Economic and Social Committee. She represents the Czech Chamber of Commerce in the EESC within the mandate 2020-2025 and is a delegate of the Czech Chamber of Commerce to Eurochambres.
From 2011 till May 2021, she was a Director of CEBRE – Czech Business Representation to the EU. Before joining CEBRE, she worked at the Czech Ministry of Finance on ECOFIN issues, and worked in private sector.
She graduated at the Palacky University in Olomouc and at the Masaryk University in Brno with major in Economics and Public Administration. She wrote her thesis about pension reform at Research Institute of Macroeconomics studies and International Finance in Nice. As EU affairs specialist, she has a particular interest in the energy issues, better regulation and internal market.
