Cora Francisca Jungbluth
Cora is a senior expert for China and the Asia Pacific at the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Germany. In the Europe’s Future program, she works on EU-US-China relations, critical dependencies, foreign direct investment (FDI) and international trade. Before joining the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Cora was an assistant professor at the Institute of Chinese Studies of the University of Freiburg. As a freelancing consultant, she worked on Asia-related projects with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), among others. Cora studied Chinese Studies and Economics at Heidelberg University, Shanghai International Studies University, and Tsinghua University, Beijing. She holds a Ph.D. in Chinese Studies from Heidelberg University. Her dissertation focused on the internationalization process of Chinese companies.
