Jan Bumba hosts the Český rozhlas Plus programs Interview Plus and Pro and Con.

He spent four years at the Czech BBC newsroom and hosted public affairs programs at Radiožurnál and Radio Czech Republic. He also wrote for Hospodářské noviny and Ekonom. Jan joined Český rozhlas at the end of the last millennium after graduating from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, driven by a critical view of the media.

Currently, he observes significant changes in the media landscape and believes the importance and responsibilities of public service media are growing.
